On January 9, 2017, Air France inaugurated the first 787 Dreamliner of its fleet on a Paris-Cairo flight. The doors of the 787 are signed Latecoere.
More than 125 million passengers have already traveled aboard a 787 Dreamliner! 5 years after its first delivery, the 500th airplane from the Boeing factories lands at Air France to add to the airline’s international fleet. Latecoere is proud to work with Boeing to deliver an airplane that serves airlines’ business goals, reduces environmental impact and provides air travelers with a superb passenger experience.
With this 500th of the 787, Latecoere delivers its 4000th passenger door for the 787. Latecoere is delighted to be a structural supplier to the Dreamliner. Obviously subject to a particular heavy regulation, the door is a complex piece considering its structural constraints which compose with a Kinematics of opening / closing at high frequency.
