From March to June 2021, an Aerostructures team provided production support services to the Belgian equipment manufacturer, SABCA. What are we doing for them? Supporting the launch and ramp-up of the Falcon 6X programme, for which SABCA produces the T34 section: a very specific part of the aircraft structure, ensuring the junction between the fuselage and the wing as well as comprising a tank part under the floor.
The mission was organised in record time by the Customer Support department to help SABCA on its assembly lines in Brussels. The team was made up of operators from the Gimont factory (France), who are experts on Dassault Aviation products, and operators from Customer Support, who work regularly on customer assembly lines or on Part 145 repair activities, in our own repair station or at MRO sites.
Expertise, responsiveness and flexibility have enabled the Customer Support teams to fulfill this mission for SABCA. As ambassadors of Latecoere’s expertise throughout the world, they are now ready to support our customers and take on new challenges by their side.
