Information on a cyber-attack impacting Comtek Advanced Structures External statement published on October 17th, 2023

On Saturday, October 7^th 2023, Comtek Advanced Structures (“Comtek”), a Latecoere company based in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, faced a ransomware threat which was detected swiftly and contained immediately.

Comtek information system is separated and isolated from the other Latecoere Group entities, being confirmed as not impacted by the incident.

The Comtek facility has been temporarily closed while a cybersecurity forensic investigation and recovery are still under way supported by external experts.

Several IT streams to strengthen operational reliability and security standards are on-going whilst plant IT tools are to be restored securely. As of today, we can be confident in Comtek plant operational work to be restarted soon.

Customers and stakeholders of Comtek have been duly informed.
