Unveiled at the Paris Air Show on the European Commission’s stand, the Racer model was a great success.

Clean Sky is the largest European research program developing cutting-edge technology that helps reducing CO2, gas emissions and noise levels produced by aircraft.

Latecoere’s Interconnexion Systems, 2nd largest electrical wiring manufacturer in the world, will take part in this program as a 1st rank partner for the high-speed helicopter developed by Airbus Helicopters.

For 3 years as of the end of 2017, Latecoere will conceive, develop and manufacture EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) for the Racer’s new electrical platform. The company will also provide video systems to facilitate safety use and comfort for the passengers. Latecoere will use its expertise to serve the demonstrator’s objectives (profitability, durability and performance) while meeting Clean Sky 2’s environmental requirements.

“We are proud to take part in the European research program Clean Sky 2, an innovative strength to invent tommorow’ aeronautics. The partnership rewards our engineers’ expertise of world renown.”
