As part of the “France Relance” plan launched by the French Government and Bpifrance to revitalize the national economy and create sustainable jobs, Latecoere committed in 2020 to implementing the ambitious objectives of the RECITAL project. This strategic initiative has played a key role in the Group’s industrial evolution, driving significant transformations at its sites in Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Occitanie.

Innovation at the Heart of the Group’s Activities

Through RECITAL, Latecoere initiated numerous innovative projects within its Aerostructures Europe and Interconnection Systems divisions, directly involving its Innovation, Technical, Programs, and Industrial departments. This cross-functional project introduced cutting-edge methodologies and manufacturing processes, which were validated and integrated into production activities in France.

In June 2023, the Aerostructures Europe division completed its activities under the project. More recently, the Interconnection Systems division also concluded its work, marking a decisive milestone in the Group’s industrial transformation.

Major advancements of the RECITAL project for Interconnection Systems

RECITAL funded innovative and competitive solutions labeled as “Smart Factory,” enhancing Latecoere’s industrial performance. Key achievements include:

• Optimized management of industrial projects: Implementation and testing of an advanced methodology integrating quality planning from the early stages.
• Improved logistical flows: Reorganization of workshops for smoother and more efficient process management.
• Automation of manufacturing processes: Deployment of new technologies to improve speed and reliability.
• Digitization of data: Introduction of digital solutions to modernize and optimize production processes in workshops.

Building on these initiatives, Latecoere has achieved significant competitiveness gains. These advancements position the Group as a key partner in meeting the demands of aircraft manufacturers, both for current programs and the development of the next generation of aircraft.
