The Latecoere staff received congratulations, in-person, from the Airbus integration teams for its delivery – on-time, without exceptions – of this first portion. A special mention goes out to the Latecoere engineering design department who respected the planning and for the quality of its certification records. Beyond this success story, how can we improve even more greatly the delivery times? This is the question that is driving the Latecoere Group working with Airbus.
At 1200 kg, the #15 section will put to use some 45 000 rivets and not far from 265 references.
